Archie was invited by ActionAid International to lead an independent Review Team to review ActionAid Myanmar’s progress against its five-year strategy from August 2017-December 2017.

Outcomes.

Comprehensive, evidence-based review of ActionAid Myanmar’s strategy, drawing on programme data, evaluations, staff insights, and stakeholder engagement

Broad stakeholder input incorporated, including perspectives from young people across four States, government representatives, UN agencies, civil society leaders, think tanks, and rural communities

Clear and actionable recommendations developed to inform the organisation’s future strategic direction

Strong alignment between organisational learning and future strategy, ensuring that past experience directly shaped forward planning

A refreshed country strategy grounded in real-world insight, stakeholder perspectives, and the operational realities of Myanmar

Archie was engaged by UNDP from November 2017 - December 2017 to conduct a review assessing whether the UNDP Türkiye demining project had achieved the expected results.

OUTCOMES.

Comprehensive review of the UNDP Mine Action capacity development project, drawing on engagement with senior government officials, mine action specialists, donors, and United Nations leadership

Clear, evidence-based assessment of project achievements, challenges, and future risks in a complex and sensitive operating environment

A well-received report that informed decision-making by UNDP, the Government of Türkiye, and key donors

Strengthened alignment between stakeholders on the next phase of the programme

Foundation established for the transition to large-scale landmine clearance on Türkiye’s eastern border
